Making a Difference at the YWalk

On Saturday, May 30, the YWCA Greater Pittsburgh community came together for the YWalk as part of the 2026 Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community, raising vital funds to support our organization’s mission. More than 50 walkers joined us at Point State Park for an energizing morning alongside family, friends, and staff members.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our participants and donors, the YWalk has already raised $4,250—significantly surpassing our fundraising goal—and every single gift has helped make that possible. We are deeply grateful for each and every donation, and for the many people who joined us. We extend a particularly warm thank-you to our team captains, whose leadership and dedication helped carry this effort forward. We are also grateful to the members of our Board of Directors and Young Leaders Board who supported the day and helped make it so meaningful. Donations are still being accepted through June 30, so there is still time to join this inspiring effort and help us build on this wonderful momentum.
