Our Impact in 2023-2024
Founded in 1867, YWCA Greater Pittsburgh is a member of a nationally recognized movement with a mission to eliminate racism and empower women. We provide direct services, empowerment programming, and advocacy to support individuals and families, especially women and girls of color, while working to challenge structural barriers to equity.
Engaged 2,904 individuals in racial and social justice initiatives through the Center for Race & Gender Equity
Provided educational opportunities to 990 children and parents through our Educational Opportunity Programs
Helped connect 1,077 individuals with basic needs like housing, food, utilities, transportation, and healthcare costs
