Jasmine Browner

Emerging Leader Award

YWCA Greater Pittsburgh’s 2025 Emerging Leader Award goes to Jasmine Browner. Jasmine, from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, is a graduate of Seton Hill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts. As an undergraduate, she served as President of the Black Student Union, was a member of the cheerleading team, worked as a Resident Assistant & Orientation Leader, and mentored peers through the L.I.F.T. Program. Her leadership earned her the Jimmerson Award for Diversity and Inclusion, and her senior exhibition, Blissfully Colored: A Love Letter to the Culture & Myself, celebrated Black identity and cultural expression. Jasmine is currently pursuing her MBA with a specialization in Leadership and Management at Seton Hill. She works as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Global and Cultural Connections, where she co-advises BSU and L.I.F.T., supports international and multicultural students, and develops cultural programming.
