Action Conversation: Courts for Equality

Action Conversations take place on the third Wednesday of every month from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Zoom and Facebook Live. ASL interpretation is provided.

Courts have long been central arenas in the struggle for equality, serving as spaces where unjust laws are challenged and fundamental rights are defined and defended. This panel explores how impact litigation is used to confront discrimination based on race, gender, and other identities, while also examining the limits of legal systems in delivering true justice. Panelists from the Women’s Law Project discuss how the fight for equality continues both inside and beyond the courtroom in pursuit of peace, justice, dignity, and freedom for all.
