Our Opportunity Pathways Programs address educational opportunity gaps for students in grades Pre-K to 12 by providing standard aligned, evidence-based education, career exploration, post-secondary education support, workforce development, social emotional learning, mentoring, and leadership opportunities to youth throughout Allegheny County.

    STEM Impact

    STEM Impact is a “train the trainer” initiative that makes it possible to reach many more children with our acclaimed STEM curricula. We supply partner after-school providers with the instruction, materials, and resources that they need to deliver quality STEM programming. The curricula are interactive, and educational activities are uniquely structured to awaken children’s interest in STEM.

    PATHmakers

    Middle School & High School PATHmakers broadens 5th-12th grade students' interests & nurtures their confidence as learners and future employees. PATHmakers helps give students the tools they need to pursue their career interests and provides them with opportunities for holistic growth.

    YWCA Greater Pittsburgh's reputed Saturday Academy & Corporate Visits program includes monthly full-day events that bring students to local trade schools, corporations, colleges, and universities for educational enhancement, college and career preparation, and the opportunity to meet inspiring professionals who are successful in a variety of fields.
