It’s Disability Pride Month, an “annual observance in July that celebrates people with disabilities, commemorates the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and promotes disability culture and visibility.” In honor of this special observance, we’re studying up on the Disability Pride flag and some key figures who paved the way for the passage of the ADA, which will celebrate its 35th anniversary this year.
